MS Girls Basketball Splits vs. Woodridge

The 7th grade girls basketball team stayed undefeated in the PTC, beating Woodridge last night 27-25. Their overall record is 8-1. The 8th grade team lost to the Bulldogs 48-10, dropping their record to 1-8. Both teams are back in action tomorrow at Springfield.

Girls Basketball Falls to Ravenna

The girls basketball team fought hard but could not overcome foul trouble and missed free throws, as they lost to Ravenna 57-51. Junior Taylor Norris had 21 points and sophomore Maddie Ross added 16. The girls are now 5-8 overall and 3-5 in the PTC. They play at home tomorrow vs. Field.

Girls Basketball Falls to Cloverleaf

The girls basketball team lost to Cloverleaf on Saturday 60-35. Senior Takaylyn Hudson had 11 points and 7 rebounds and junior Taylor Norris had 10 points and 3 steals. The girls are now 5-7 on the season and play at home vs. Ravenna tonight.

Boys Basketball Hands Norton First PTC Loss

The boys basketball team beat Norton on Saturday night 62-56, giving the Panthers their first PTC loss on the season. Junior Jarmond Hogg had 26 points and 8 rebounds and senior Sam Vanadia had 15 points and 14 rebounds. The boys also beat Cloverleaf on Friday night 64-40. Hogg led the Comets with 20 points

MS Girls Basketball Splits vs. Field

The 7th grade girls basketball team beat Field last night 53-9, bringing their record to 7-1 on the season. The 8th grade team lost 28-16, dropping their record to 1-7 on the season. The girls are back in action on Monday at home vs. Woodridge.

Wrestling Team Defeats Springfield

The varsity wrestling team defeated Springfield last night 37-30. Juniors Miles Knuckles and AJ McCants both pinned their opponents while senior Joe Wright and junior Liam Fagan earned tech falls. Junior Austin Hinzman won 2-1 and freshman Colby Simon and senior James Barte both earned forfeit victories. The team is now 5-2 on the season

Boys Bowling Wins Nail Biter vs. Springfield; Girls Fall in Close Match

The boys bowling team held off Springfield by 7 pins last night, defeating the Spartans 2462-2455. Senior Trentyn Leibert had the high game with a 231 and senior Jacob Stahl had the high series with a 423. The boys are now 10-4 on the season. The girls lost to the Spartans 2360-2172, dropping their record

Girls Basketball Falls to Norton After Panthers Pull Away Late

The girls basketball team lost to Norton last night 49-39 after the Panthers went on a 10-0 run over the final minute and a half of the game. The loss brings the Comets record to 5-6 overall and 3-3 in the PTC. Senior Takaylyn Hudson had a double double with 14 points and 18 rebounds
