Volleyball Defeats Southeast in Sectional Finals

The volleyball team beat Southeast 3-0 (25-20-, 25-6, 25-17) in last night’s OHSAA Sectional Finals. Freshman Ronnie Meinen had 11 kills, junior Miya Gotto had 11 digs and 21 service points, senior Leah Ungashick had 21 assists, and Meinen, sophomore Carly Wightman, and freshman Mallory Meinen all had 2 blocks. Girls Soccer Defeated By Norwayne In Sectional Finals

The girls soccer team lost to Norwayne last night 4-1 in the OHSAA Sectional Finals. Senior Dalin Phonkeo scored the lone goal for the Comets. The girls finish the season with an overall record of 9-9 and finished in 4th in the PTC.

7th Grade Volleyball Advances to PTC Championship

The 7th grade volleyball team beat Field last night in the PTC Semifinals. They will now take on Norton on Saturday in the PTC Championship game. The game will be held at Woodridge at 10:00 am.

Boys Soccer Opens Up Tournament Play With Win

The boys soccer team defeated Springfield 2-0 last night in their opening round OHSAA Sectional Semifinal tournament game. Senior Damian Jackson and sophomore Kyle Smith both scored for the Comets. Senior Carson Karakis earned the shutout in goal. The team now moves on to the Sectional Final game at Orrville on Saturday at 1:00 pm.

Girls Soccer Wins Opening Round Game of OHSAA Tournament

The girls soccer team won their opening game in the OHSAA tournament, beating Springfield 12-0 in a Sectional Semifinal matchup.
