Kyler Barnett earned Athlete of the Week honors for his performance at the Patrick J Morales Wrestling Tournament in New York last weekend. Kyler finished in 4th place at the 285 lb weight class. Congratulations Kyler!

Wrestling Team Falls to Streetsboro

The wrestling team lost to Streetsboro last night 42-28. Freshman Steven Davis (120), freshman Dalton Cooksey (132), sophomore Kody Arntz (145), and senior Kyler Barnett (285) all earned pins for the Comets and freshman Evan Edgar McGhee (126) earned a major decision. The team is back in action on Thursday at home vs. Cloverleaf and Norton.

The girls basketball team lost to Norton last night 66-34. Senior Maddie Ross had 12 points, senior Stacey Arnold had 9 points, and junior Cassidy Karakis had 8 points. The boys basketball team split a pair of their games over the weekend. On Friday night, the boys beat Springfield 62-23. Sophomore LaNeer Surles had 17 points and 9 rebounds and junior Cameron Ray added 9 points. The JV team also beat the Spartans 45-26 and were led by sophomore Lorenzo King with 15 points.
