Virtual Cheerleading Tryouts

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, tryouts for both the high school and middle school cheerleading teams for next year will be held virtually. Please see below for details. High School Students who will be in 9th-12th grade for the 2020-2021 school year should email Coach Belknap at by May 15th to show your interest.

Cheerleading Team to Perform at Cleveland Monsters Game

Cheerleaders to Host Winter Mini Comet Cheer Camp

The varsity cheerleading team will be holding a “Winter Mini Comet Cheer Camp” January 22-January 25 for students in grades K-4. Cheer Team Hosts Cheer Camp

This past week the Coventry High School cheerleaders hosted a mini cheer camp for our future Comet cheerleaders. Mini campers worked very hard learning a cheer and dance that they performed prior to the football game on Friday night. Great job girls!

Cheerleading Tryout Information

Any student interested in trying out for cheerleading next year should plan on attending the clinics and tryouts next week. Clinics are Monday-Thursday from 3:30-5 in the high school gym. The girls basketball team will honor their two seniors, Megan Murray and Janayah Keys, on Wednesday at halftime of their game vs. Springfield. This will be approximately 7:30 pm.
