MS Football Opens Season With Victory Over Mogadore

The middle school football team started their season off strong, defeating Mogadore last night 22-8. 8th graders Kenton Duty and Brady Watson connected for 2 touchdown passes and Duty tacked on a touchdown run. The boys play next Wednesday at home vs. Norton at 4 pm.

Football Team Steamrolls Kenmore-Garfield In Season Opener

The football team opened up the season in impressive fashion, defeating Kenmore-Garfield 49-0 on Saturday. The Comet defense, led by seniors Brayden Dauberman and Issac Stover, held the Golden Rams to just 80 total yards. On the offensive side, scoring came from all over the field. Burkhart Signs National Letter of Intent with University of Akron

Senior Dusty Burkhart signed his National Letter of Intent to play football at the University of Akron today. Burkhart earned All-State honors his senior year and qualified for the State Track Meet during his junior year. Congratulations Dusty!

Sibley, Burkhart Earn All-Ohio Honors

Junior Treon Sibley and senior Dusty Burkhart earned All-Ohio Honors for their performance on the football field this season. Sibley earned 1st Team Defense Honors and Burkhart earned 3rd Team Offense Honors. Congratulations to both young men on their outstanding season!

The middle school football team had several chances but could not find the end zone last night against Ravenna. One safety by the Ravens defense proved to be the difference, as Ravenna went on to win 2-0 in a cold and rainy game. The boys are next in action on Wednesday at Streetsboro.
