Roscoe’s Complete Game Leads Baseball Team to Victory Over Ravenna

The baseball team beat Ravenna last night 13-9 behind sophomore Brian Roscoe’s complete game. Senior Trentyn Leibert led the way for the Comets at the plate with a single, double, home run, and walk. The boys are now 3-8 on the season and play at Woodridge tonight.

The baseball team lost to Cloverleaf last night 11-1. The boys are now 2-8 on the season and play at Ravenna tonight.

Baseball Team Defeats Cloverleaf

The varsity baseball team beat Cloverleaf 7-2 last night behind strong pitching from sophomores Jacob Garrett and Brian Roscoe. Garrett pitched 5 innings for the Comets and Roscoe the last 2 innings. The boys are now 2-7 on the season and host Cloverleaf tonight.

Baseball Defeats Streetsboro

The baseball team beat Streetsboro last night 18-1. Senior Trentyn Leibert had 5 RBI’s to lead the way for the Comets. The boys are now 1-7 on the season and host Streetsboro tonight.

Baseball Loses to Woodridge and Norton Over the Weekend

The baseball team dropped league games to both Woodridge and Norton over the weekend. On Friday, the Comets lost to Woodridge 2-0 and on Saturday, the Comets lost 17-4. The boys are now 0-7 on the season and play at Streetsboro tonight.

Baseball Falls to Manchester

The baseball team lost to Manchester last night 12-6, dropping their record to 0-3 on the season. Senior Shane Sacher had 4 RBI’s for the Comets. The boys take on Lake tonight at Lake and are home tomorrow vs. Kenmore-Garfield.

Baseball Drops Game to Field

The baseball team took a 6-4 lead into the 5th inning before losing to Field 16-6. The boys are now 0-2 on the season and 0-2 in the PTC. They travel to East tomorrow.

Baseball Drops First Full Game of Season

The baseball team could not get the bats rolling as they lost their first full game of the season to Field 1-0. Senior Trentyn Leibert had a single and a double for the Comets and senior Shane Sacher held the Falcons to only one run on the game. The boys are 0-1 overall and 0-1

Freshman Brian Roscoe pitched a no hitter on Saturday, leading the Comets to a 13-0 win over Buchtel at Canal Park. Junior Trentyn Leibert led the way at the plate with 2 RBI’s. The baseball team wraps up their season with a 6-14 record.
