Boys and Girls Bowling Teams Compete at Panther Challenge

The boys and girls bowling teams competed in the Panther Challenge at Norton over the weekend. The boys finished in 6th and the girls finished in 5th. Sophomore Mason Gainer had the high game of the tournament, shooting a 290 to earn the high game medal. The teams are next in action tomorrow vs. Ravenna.

Boys Bowling Defeats Norton; Girls Fall to Panthers

The boys bowling team used a late rally to defeat Norton last night in their opening match of the season 2213-2206. Junior Owen Sias bowled a 201 and junior AJ Swafford bowled a 186. The girls bowling team lost to Norton 2227-2107. Senior Savannah McGraw bowled a 200 and junior Naomi Thomas bowled a 188.

Bowling Tryout Info

Bowling tryouts will be held on Friday 11/2 and Monday 11/5 from 3-5 at Turkeyfoot Lanes. Cost is $5 for 3 games and you can tryout on one or both days.

Girls Bowling Qualifies To District Tournament

The girls bowling team finished in 3rd place at the Sectional Tournament yesterday, qualifying on to the District Tournament by only 2 pins. They will now bowl at Districts on Saturday, February 24th with the hopes of qualifying on to the State Tournament.
