Coventry All Sports Boosters to Hold Reverse Raffle

The Coventry All Sports Booster Club will be holding their annual Reverse Raffle at Bricco Prime on Friday, March 16th. Tickets are $50 a person and include a beverage and buffet dinner and a chance to win $1000. There will also be side boards, basket raffles, and a silent auction among other things. Contact Kathy

Softball Tryout Information

Softball open gyms will be Tuesday 2/20, Wednesday 2/21, and Thursday 2/22 from 3:30-5:00 at the middle school gym for anyone interested in practicing before tryouts. Girls Soccer Upsets Streetsboro in Sectional Final

The girls soccer team defeated Streetsboro last night 3-2 in the Sectional Final. The Rockets were the 3 seed in the tournament. Senior Ashley Rafferty scored 2 goals for the Comets and senior Amy Quitter had 1 goal. The girls will play the winner of Field and Crestwood on Monday 10/23.

Girls Soccer Falls to Hoban

The girls soccer team lost to Hoban last night 9-0. They wrap up the regular season with a record of 5-9-1. They will play at Streetsboro Wednesday in the Sectional final of the OHSAA tournament. If they win, they will play on Monday 10/23.

The girls soccer team struck early and often and defeated Springfield last night 12-1. Senior Ashley Rafferty added another hat trick for the Comets, freshman Maddie Ross had 2 goals, and senior Sam Ruegg, senior Amy Quitter, senior Isabelle Virag, sophomore Sandra Northup, freshman Alexxis Wearstler, sophomore Mia Omeragic, and Springfield had an own goal.
