7th Grade Boys Basketball Defeats Springfield

The 7th grade boys basketball team got back on track last night with a win over Springfield 58-20. Brendan Lushes and Law Semelsberger helped moved to Comets to 13-2. The boys have their final regular season game on Monday vs. Norton.

The freshman boys basketball team defeated Woodridge last night 45-44. The Comets were led by Justin Christian and Carson Karakis. The boys are next in action on Saturday at Lake Center Christian at 2.

Girls Basketball Wins at Woodridge

The girls basketball team defeated Woodridge last night 41-38, bringing their record to 7-11. Leading the way for the Comets were senior Megan Murray with 14 points and 5 rebounds and sophomore Taylor Norris with 12 points and 5 steals. Junior Paige McGonigal added 9 rebounds. Boys Basketball Holds Off Streetsboro Behind Hogg’s 30

The boys basketball team held off a furious Streetsboro 4th quarter rally last night, defeating the Rockets 89-84. Coventry is now 12-4 overall and 9-2 in the PTC. The Comets were led by sophomore Jarmond Hogg with 30 points, sophomore Micah Wallace with 17 points, and junior Treon Sibley with 16 points and 5 steals.

Burkhart Signs National Letter of Intent with University of Akron

Senior Dusty Burkhart signed his National Letter of Intent to play football at the University of Akron today. Burkhart earned All-State honors his senior year and qualified for the State Track Meet during his junior year. Congratulations Dusty!
