The boys basketball team lost to Cloverleaf on Friday night 65-57. Four Comets scored in double figures, with senior Devin Pauley and sophomore LaGreer Surles each having 14 points. Junior Ronnie Thompson and 12 points and junior Cam Ray had 10 points. The boys are now 11-5 on the season and travel to Northwest tomorrow.

8th Grade Girls Basketball Defeats Field

The 8th grade girls basketball team beat Field last night 22-7. Leading the Comets were Madi Burkhart with 12 points, Aubrey McCracken with 7 points, and Gabby Dick with 3 points. The girls next play on Monday at Cloverleaf.

Junior Cameron Ray earned Athlete of the Week honors for his performance in the boys basketball big win over Field. Cam had 23 points, 5 steals, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds. Congratulations Cam!

Wrestling Team Falls to Springfield

The wrestling team lost to Springfield last night 32-29. Freshman Evan Edgar earned a pin and junior Colby Simon earned a tech fall. Freshman Tyson Denison, freshman Steven Davis, and junior Kyler Barnett all earned forfeit victories. The boys wrestle again on Thursday at home vs. Northwest.

The Coventry All-Sports Boosters are hosting their annual Reverse Raffle on Saturday, February 29th at Chenoweth Golf Course.
