Baseball Defeats Streetsboro

The baseball team beat Streetsboro last night 18-1. Senior Trentyn Leibert had 5 RBI’s to lead the way for the Comets. The boys are now 1-7 on the season and host Streetsboro tonight.

Baseball Loses to Woodridge and Norton Over the Weekend

The baseball team dropped league games to both Woodridge and Norton over the weekend. On Friday, the Comets lost to Woodridge 2-0 and on Saturday, the Comets lost 17-4. The boys are now 0-7 on the season and play at Streetsboro tonight.

Softball Drops Close Games to Norton on Friday and Saturday

The softball team could not get the bats rolling over the weekend, losing to Norton 5-1 on Friday and 2-1 on Saturday. Saturday’s loss came in the bottom of the 9th inning. The girls are now 1-5 on the season and play at Streetsboro tonight.

Boys Tennis Defeats Ravenna

The boys tennis team beat Ravenna on Friday 3-2. The Comets are now 4-3 on the season and play a double header at Norton tonight.

Girls and Boys Track Teams Both Defeat Mogadore

Boys Track Defeats Firestone, Falls to Hoban; Girls Defeat Elms, Fall to Firestone and Hoban

The boys track team beat Firestone last night 69-59 and lost to Hoban 94-34. The girls beat Our Lady of the Elms 94-32 but lost to Firestone 68-59 and Hoban 102-26.
