Girls Basketball Defeats Field

The girls basketball team had a balanced scoring attack as they beat Field last night 44-39. Sophomore Maddie Ross had 10 points, junior Taylor Norris had 9 points, and senior Bella Pieri had 8 points. Six other Comets got on the scoreboard as well. The girls are now 6-9 overall and 4-6 in the PTC.

Shane Sacher’s 300 Leads Bowling Teams to Victories Over Cloverleaf

Girls Basketball Falls to Ravenna

The girls basketball team lost to Ravenna on Saturday 58-41. Junior Taylor Norris led the way with 22 points and 5 rebounds. The girls are now 5-9 and host Field tonight.

Boys Basketball Defeats Field

The boys basketball team beat Field on Friday night 71-52. Seniors Jayson Wagner and Sam Vanadia both had 18 points. Junior Jarmond Hogg added 17 points for the Comets. The boys are now 10-5 overall and 7-2 in the PTC. They host Ravenna tomorrow at 7:00 pm.

7th Grade Boys Basketball Defeats Norton

The 7th grade boys basketball team beat Norton last night 41-38. Brayden Clark, Chris Wilcox, and Matt Skaggs were key contributors for the Comets. They are next in action on Saturday at Mogadore.

MS Girls Basketball Falls to Norton

Both the 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams lost to Norton last night. The 7th grade lost 42-32 and the 8th grade lost 59-5. The girls are next in action on Monday at Ravenna.

Wrestling Falls to Streetsboro 38-37

The wrestling team lost to Streetsboro last night 38-37, bringing their record to 4-3 on the season. Juniors AJ McCants and Dom Sharp both pinned their opponents, senior James Barte earned a tech fall, senior Joe Wright and junior Miles Knuckles earned major decisions, and freshman Colby Simon and junior Austin Hinzman earned forfeit victories.

Boys Bowling Defeats Norton; Girls Fall

The boys bowling team beat Norton last night 2373-2328. Senior Jacob Stahl had the high game and high series for the Comets with a 225 and 440 respectively. The boys are now 11-4 on the season.
