Girls Bowling Team Advances to District Tournament

The girls bowling team advanced to the OHSAA District Tournament by finishing in 3rd place at yesterday’s Sectional Tournament. They will now bowl on Sunday at Buckeye Lanes in North Olmsted. If they finish in the Top 4 there, they will qualify on to the State Tournament. Good luck girls!

Four MS Wrestlers Place at PTC Tournament

Four middle school wrestlers placed at the PTC tournament this past weekend at Garrettsville Garfield. Evan McGhee finished in 2nd place and Dalton Cooksey, Adam Strack, and Logan Tennant all finished in 4th place. Congratulations on a great season!

Boys Basketball Defeats Springfield

The boys basketball team beat Springfield on Friday night 55-44. Senior Jaret Griffith led the Comets with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Sophomore Ronnie Thompson added 12 points and senior Lane Boyer and junior Trevoun Bulls each added 8 points. The boys are now 8-10 on the season and host Highland tomorrow. The JV team

Wrestling Team Defeats Field, Falls to Rootstown on Senior Night

The wrestling team beat Field 51-23 and lost to Rootstown 39-24 on Senior Night last night. Seniors Liam Fagan, Owen Hartwig, Austin Hinzman, Miles Knuckles, AJ McCants, and Kaleb Shank were all recognized prior to the match. Freshman Boys Basketball Defeated by Woodridge

Girls Basketball Falls to Woodridge

The girls basketball team lost to Woodridge last night 49-22. Sophomore Cassidy Karakis nearly had a triple double with 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 steals for the Comets. Sophomore Kylie Goodlet added 5 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals. The girls are now 2-18 on the season and host Streetsboro on Monday.
