Fall Sports Top 10 – #7

Our #7 moment of the fall sports season was Kyle Smith’s upper 90 free kick goal against Barberton. Check out the video below. Smith’s goal was one of many on the season that helped him earn 1st team All-MAC honors.

Fall Sports Top 10 – #8

Our #8 moment of the fall sports season was Mallory Meinen reaching 1,000 career assists already as a sophomore. Meinen helped lead the Comets volleyball team to their 3rd straight league championship, 1st ever District Championship, and an Elite Eight appearance that resulted in the team finishing as Regional Runner Up.

Our #9 moment of the fall season was the girls tennis 2nd doubles team of senior Audrey Leeser and junior Sierra Kuhn finishing as MAC runner up. Congratulations girls!

Fall Sports Awards Pick Up

Because we are unable to have our traditional high school Fall Sports Awards night, we will be holding a high school Fall Sports Awards drive thru pick up on Monday 11/23/20 from 9:00 am-6:00 pm under the awning at the front of the high school. All fall sport athletes are encouraged to stop by at

Fall Sports Top 10 – #10

Our #10 moment of the fall season was the girls soccer team beating Springfield 10-0. Senior Alexxis Morgan led the Comets with a hat trick. Senior Morgan Ross and freshman Aubrey McCracken each added 2 goals, and freshman Riley Heeter, junior Leah Ruegg, and freshman Kara Hamilton all scored 1 goal. Many thanks to the marching band for also being there at this game as well

Bowling Teams Fall to Woodridge

Both the boys and girls bowling teams lost to Woodridge last night in their dual match opener. The boys lost 2354-2152 and were led by senior John Welsh with a series of 390 (180 and 210). The girls lost 1900-1851 and were led by senior Abbie Kintz with a series of 373 (182 and 191).

Ryder Swafford Finishes 2nd at MAC Preseason Bowling Tournament

The bowling teams opened up their season on Saturday at the MAC Preseason Tournament at Spins Lanes Kent. Sophomore Ryder Swafford finished 2nd overall with a series of 662 (191, 194, 277). Both the boys and the girls finished in 4th place overall and next host Woodridge tomorrow.
