7th Grade Boys Basketball Routs Ravenna

The 7th grade boys basketball team remained undefeated last night by beating Ravenna 49-9. They are now 4-0 on the season and look to go 5-0 on Thursday at Streetsboro.

Wrestling Team Finishes 11th at North Coast Classic

The wrestling team opened up their season at the North Coast Classic on Friday and Saturday, finishing 11th overall out of 31 teams. Girls Basketball Falls to Ravenna 52-41

The girls basketball team fought hard but could not break through as they lost to Ravenna 52-41. Leading the way for the Comets was senior Megan Murray with 17 points and 8 rebounds and junior Takalyn Hudson with 10 points and 9 rebounds. The girls are now 2-2 overall and play at Streetsboro on Wednesday.

Boys Basketball Crushes the Colts

The boys basketball team defeated Cloverleaf last night 76-42, bringing their record to 2-1. Junior Treon Sibley led the way for the Comets with 17 points and 4 steals. Junior Sam Vanadia grabbed 9 rebounds for Coventry. The boys are back in action on Tuesday at home vs. Field.

The 7th grade boys basketball team defeated Field last night 46-13 to improve their record to 3-0 after wins over Copley and Cloverleaf as well. According to Coach Mike Dick, it was a “well played game” by the Comets. The boys are back in action again on Monday at home vs. Ravenna.

Lady Comets Mount 4th Quarter Comeback to Defeat Field

The girls basketball team outscored Field 21-8 in the 4th quarter to overcome 9 point deficit and defeat the Falcons 41-37. Sophomore Taylor Norris led the Comets with 14 points and freshman Maddie Ross scored all 11 of her points during the 4th quarter comeback. Girls Bowling Falls to Springfield

The girls bowling team kept it close but could not get over the hump and lost to Springfield 2223-2024, giving the Comets a 1-2 record. Senior Kailee Evans had the high game and high series with a 193 and 385 respectively. The ladies are back in action again on Friday at Crestwood.
