Girls Tennis Seniors Go Out With Style By Winning Last Match of Season

The girls tennis team defeated Barberton last night 4-1, giving the Comets a 13-9 overall record which is the best in girls tennis history at Coventry. The boys and girls soccer teams both lost to Woodridge last night. The boys lost 4-2, suffering their first league defeat of the season. Sophomore Jordan Akins scored both the goals for the Comets. Girls Tennis Defeats Firestone

The girls tennis team defeated Firestone last night 3-2. Senior Gabby McGraw won at 1st singles (7-6, 6-3), seniors Glendy Bergdorf and Jessica Shockey won at 1st doubles (6-0, 4-6, 6-2), and seniors Gracie Hollingsworth and Rebekah Flower won at 2nd doubles (6-4, 7-6). Volleyball Falls to Manchester

The volleyball team lost to Manchester last night 3-2 (14-25, 25-23, 23-25, 25-21, 16-14). The girls are now 10-4 on the season and play at home vs. Ravenna tonight. The JV team beat the Panthers 2-1.

MS Volleyball Splits vs. Field

Congratulations to the 7th grade volleyball team who remains undefeated after a victory against the Field Falcons.
