Cross Country Excels at Malone Invitational

Congratulations to the cross country teams who ran at the Malone Invitational over the weekend. Senior Tucker Pearce lead the way for the Comets placing 7th overall and coming close to the school record. Junior Brad Holmgren placed 28th overall and ran a personal best (18:18) as did freshman Owen Hartwig (18:53) and sophomore Ray Hilbert

Boys Soccer Loses Tough Match vs. Woodridge

The boys soccer team lost a tough match at Woodridge tonight 2-1. The Comets lone goal was scored by sophomore Jack Fuller. The boys record now stands at 3-3-2 and 1-1-1 in the PTC. They are back in action Thursday night at Northwest.

Girls Soccer Shuts Out Woodridge

The girls soccer team defeated Woodridge tonight 3-0. Scoring goals for the Comets were senior Karli Morisak and sophomore Ashley Rafferty (2). This is the girls 6th straight win and their record now stands at 7-3 and 3-0 in the PTC. The girls are next in action Saturday at Lake.

Cross Country Teams Race at Spartan Invitational

The boys and girls cross country teams competed at the Boardman Spartan Invitational this past Saturday. Throughout the day, over 5000 runners completed the 5K course. Boys Soccer Ties North

The boys soccer team tied Akron North on Saturday 1-1 amidst muddy and wet field conditions. Scoring for the Comets was junior Dillan Raines. The boys record now stands at 3-2-2. “Shoot”ing Star of the night was awarded to goalie Cole Prater for his stellar night.

Girls Soccer Defeats Northwest

The girls soccer team defeated Northwest on Saturday 4-0, improving their record to 6-3. Scoring goals for the Comets were senior Megan Fuller, sophomore Ashley Rafferty, and freshman Kyley Molea (2). “Shoot”ing Star of the match was awarded to Megan Fuller.
