The girls and boys bowling teams both beat Ravenna last night. The girls shot their highest total together with a 2387, beating the Ravens by 479 pins. Leading the Comets was junior Naomi Thomas with a 215 and 190. Senior Savannah McGraw had a 200, senior Maegan Morton had a 191, senior Mackenzie Ross had a 185 and 174, and junior Maria Caplinger had a 176 and a 175. The girls also combined to shoot 2 of their best Baker games of the season with a 202 and a 225.
The boys team beat Ravenna 2295-2073. The Comets were lead by junior Noah Page with a 268, sophomore Mason Gainer with a 225, and junior AJ Swafford with a 191.
The Comets bowl next on Tuesday the 18th at Turkeyfoot Lanes against Woodridge.
