Girls 7th Grade Volleyball, Girls 8th Grade Volleyball · MS Volleyball Teams Advance to PTC Championship

Another shout out to our volleyball girls as both teams brought home another win to advance to the PTC tournament championship game this Wednesday.

The 7th grade team defeated Cloverleaf 25-12 and 25-11 to improve their record to an amazing 17-1.  Madi Burkhart was solid in game one with 12 service points in a row.  Burkhart led the team with 16 points overall.  Emmie Morrison had 8 points, Gabby Dick had 6 points and Sydney Peterson rounded out the top scorers with 5 points.  The team looked strong and played consistent with few errors.  Good luck to our 7th grade team as they take on Norton for the PTC title.  Game time is set for 4:00 at Norton High School.

The 8th grade team defeated Streetsboro in round two with scores of 25-11 and 25-13 to remain undefeated at 21-0 overall.  The Comets look to defend their 7th grade PTC Championship and will take on the Norton Panthers this Wednesday at Norton High School at approximately 5:30.  Brooke Mirka led all scorers with 11 service points, including the final 8 points in a row in game one.  Mallory Meinen added 6 points, Jordynn Rafferty had 5 points and Lexi Dimeff, Ronnie Meinen and Emma Gotto each had 4 points for the team.
