The girls and boys track teams both defeated Norton last night. The girls won 75-53 and the boys won 74-54.
Winning events for the girls were sophomore Ashley Martinez (100 hurdles, 4×1), sophomore Halie Stevens (100, 4×1), freshman Morgan Ross (high jump, 4×2), sophomore Terryan Beauford (4×2), senior Paige McGonigal (4×2, 400), sophomore Libby Vanderark (4×2), junior Taylor Norris (4×1), senior Ashley Rafferty (4×1), junior Gracie Collins (300 hurdles), junior Savannah McGraw (discus), and junior Jasmine Yates (shot put).
Winning events for the boys were senior Ray Hilbert (4×8, 1600, 3200), senior Nate Skaggs (4×8, 400), junior Nolland Almestica (4×8), freshman Dennis Charnes (4×8, 800), sophomore Damian Jackson (110 hurdles), senior Brayden Dauberman (discus), junior Zach Rankin (shot put), and junior Austin Hinzman (long jump, high jump).
The girls are now 3-4 on the season and the boys are 4-3. They travel to Woodridge tonight to run against Springfield and Ravenna.
