Multiple Teams · Football Defeats Ravenna for First Time in 11 Years

The football team overcame a shaky start to defeat Ravenna last night 42-12. This is the Comets first time beating the Ravens since 2006. The boys are now 5-1 on the season and 3-0 in the PTC. Senior Treon Sibley had a 53 yard touchdown run and a 75 yard touchdown catch and run from junior Andrew Arnold. Senior Dalmir Sims caught an 11 yard pass from Arnold for a touchdown and junior Cody Juersivich had a 9 yard touchdown catch from Arnold. Senior Nate Skaggs and Arnold also each ran in touchdowns in the 2nd half. Senior Jack Fuller was 6-6 on extra points. Defensively, seniors Brayden Dauberman and Issac Stover led the way for the Comets.

The boys play next on Friday night in the Homecoming game vs. Streetsboro.
