Multiple Teams · Coventry Boys Gear Up For Another PTC Title Run

The Coventry Boys Basketball Team is ready for a season filled with high expectations.  The team will be lead by an amazing group of seniors that have a lot of varsity experience.  The team finished last season with a 17-5 overall record and a 13-1 league record.  The Comets recorded their first Basketball League Title since 1957. Coach Lynn Wess was the coach of the year in the PTC and the Comets had two players receive 1st Team PTC honors.

The 2015-2016 Comets will have talented guards lead by Conner Wess and Dusty Burkhart, and a dominant post presence in Bryce Hargrove.  The Comets will also have a lot of help from Seniors Shane Sturm, DuVale Patterson, Jaret Skaggs, Aric Roberts, and Tremayne Collins.  The Comets also have a great group of young talented players in 6’5″ sophomore Sam Vanadia and 5’9″ guard Drew Williams.

With expectations running high, the Coventry looks to repeat as PTC Champs.  The boys will be challenged with a tougher than usual schedule.  We hope that all will come out a support the Comets on a memorable season.
